Also, I'm against this. Don't implement it solely because people will try to do the job of the moderator when we have it handled as well as delete anything that they don't like. No.
Still applies^ I do agree with you there. However, perhaps enable it for Sr. Members or only for Hero Members and above? |

EH? In order to, in short, moderate your thread, you need to be given the permission "Moderate Forum." However, this allows you and anyone else to post in locked threads and other things only staff should have privvy to.
You said "we need to give you moderator to mod your own thread" when in reality, you don't. You can just give people the ability to mod their own thread. (or at least lock it, delete it, and delete posts/replies in it) |
