Yeah, but games have the sound files with no other background noices or something.
besides, if you want dialogue for predator, i doubt youl find it in neither games or movies.
By dialogue I mean the Predator's voice, not like spoken lines or anything.
Also, since I don't have those games, the only way I'd get those sounds would be to YouTube them, and they'll almost always have some kind of sound effect overlapping it, which is a very annoying problem for me when I'm getting sound effects for the Halo mod and Resident Evil mod. |

i have the afore mentioned game, and i could send some pred sounds.
but theres always a "but"
theres no sounds file or anything, and im bad at exctracting shit.
I'd have to hear them first... but still, I'm beginning to think that the Preddy's as good as he needs to be. Thanks for the offer though! If you have RE 5 or Halo 3 on your computer, I'd be very much in your debt if you could get some sound effects for me from both of those games! I've got a LONG list of sounds I need from them, and I've scoured YouTube and Google, sorting through pages and pages for these sounds, but I've only been able to find the "cleanest" sounds.. even though I can definitely hear background noise in the sounds.
Like.. I can hear the sound of a Majini faintly hollering in the background of Sheva Alomar's death scream, and I can hear some music faintly in Wesker's punch sound.
Also, I'll be adding Orpheon's Hosting Utilities' chat function to the game (unless there's enough people against it and they have good enough reason for it). The first version of Sci-Fi mod had Vindicator's chat in it, so this one should too now that it's available. |

my computer is a carpage worth laptop with screen split from middle, and its using another screen to feed the images on.
and it never was able to run anything more heavier than source engine, and even with source i got looping voices, slideshows of terrorists walking towards me etc etc.
so no, sorry, aint got neither.
I had a feeling you'd say that.. that's okay! YouTube will have to provide, I guess..
If anyone else wants to contribute to those two mods, I still need a long list of sounds for both of them. If you have either of those games and can get me their sound effects without any other sounds going on in them (such as gunshots going on when the Halo 3 announcer is talking, or monster roars when a character in RE 5 talks or whichever), please please PLEASE help me! |

We most certainly are, but update after update after annoyingly ill timed update to GG2 keeps me and Neu centered on Sci-Fi mod. As soon as we get Halo and RE mod updated, some other update has been put out for GG2, this latest one being the perfect example!
We JUST finished updating Sci-Fi mod, and just TODAY we were going to reupdate Halo and RE mod, but then ANOTHER dingbat update comes up! Trying to keep up with all these updates while also making any progress on either of the two mod projects is maddening work I tell ya! |

While I really appreciate the offer.. but it needs to be Halo 3.. Since all the medal dialogue, most of the match starting dialogue etc. is from Halo 3, it wouldn't really sound right if I took it from Halo 1 too. |

Now, even though the source is on the frontpage, I neglected to ask Vindi last time I did this and I'd like to now since this mod totally deserves as much respect as I can give it... so do you mind if I put your chat functions into Sci-Fi mod? Full credit to your mod will be given of course!
No, I don't mind, I even like it because it boosts my chances as well. I summed up most of what I did for Chu, and I'm also posting it here. Please remember that I've omitted everything about the making of a console, because I didn't solve that either, I copied it from TTS.
