I'm going to be working on Halo mod now, and not touch Sci-Fi until it's done. |

Awww.. well... don't be depressed! Just think of all those awesome features that RE mod will have, all those cool characters from Resident Evil, like Albert Wesker, Barry Burton, Chris Redfield and others! |

Dont worry, im pretty sure i'll like it, since i like Halo (even though i dont own an xbox 360) and your Sci-Fi mod. Unless my laptop blows up.  INS mod looks epic too, so I'm going to be busy playing all of these great mods until RE mod comes out. Then I'll HAVE to play that. |

I've seen Resident Evil before but I've never played because it was considered a horror game and i dont really like that stuff. Go ahead call me a wimp. But now im excited because i can play it in 2d.

Apropos stuff update, you know that all it takes to make the game think you've got a certain version is to change the VERSION constant?
Change it to 23600, and you'll technically be updated.
(For Sci-fi mod, because this isn't a very big time investment)

That's not really an update though. It's like slapping a 2011 warranty sticker on your 1999 computer and calling it an upgrade. All that does is make it so you don't get the new version alert. |

Of course.
But often the update isn't important enough, like this one. In those cases, why not?
Because I have an extremely crappy connection that uploads at a mere 100 KB's a second, and the file for Sci-Fi mod is 50 MB's. It takes me about an hour to upload, and all for an extremely minor inconvenience that can be avoided altogether with one click when you start the game.
If I'm gonna be spending that much time uploading this giant file, I'll be doing it for more than just a single Version number change, I'll tell ya that!um.. killah, would you please send the sprites of the predator to me soon?
Shoot.. I got caught up in a lot of things at once, sorry for forgetting.. Stuff's been very very hectic over here, and not just with mods. IRL stuff.. but anyway, I don't know when I'll get to you on that, honestly. Which ones did you want specifically? And sorry for not asking that the first time, too. |
