>AIMS (standardized testing) next week
>Language teacher decides to have the book log due right before AIMS

Gah. Panic
Pretty sure I exceeded the fuck out of all four high school AIMS this year, just got finished taking the last of them this wednesday.

All of the multiple choices were basically all simple logic questions that I don't even have to do any significant thinking for, but the AIMS always finds ways to throw in one or two stupidly "interesting" questions every test

by interesting I mean uncalled for, not properly/well explained, and/or overly hard

The writing prompt they gave us this year was really lame too, it was a persuasive letter where you had to argue whether to spend money on a better cafeteria or better technology at school, but the prompt didn't give reasons or details for either side.  It was literally "choose a side, rub your ass up and down the sheets writing which one is better"

You are in eighth grade, no?
Just hope they don't pull an imaginary number curveball at you like they did for me when I took them back then.

I dont like it how the Reading Test answers seem to be opinions. Thank God that we dont have writing this year. Instead, we have Science. Not much better for me, but better than writing.

Wait, you live in Arizona too Footpop?

EDIT: I need piano background music to play at an induction ceremony. Any suggestions? At the moment, I am practicing a short version of Piano Concerto No. 1 by Tchaikovsky.

Theta, you should switch to Anthropology studies, because I'm fairly sure you've found the embodiment that all that could possibly go wrong with a human specimen
And if he's younger than 19, you might even capture him and study his reproductive system so that we can make sure there's a way to stop said people from ever breeding any more monstrosities

Just kick the fag in the balls.

Hmm, might try working on my archer to be more than just a pot farmer.

What a coincidence, I was working with Archer to make him more than just a pot farmer.

Statistically speaking (that is to say, judging from the population of this forum), it is quite probable that you are somewhere from 13 to 20. Maybe up to 25.

May be going back to school(a different one) get my Applied CS(security focus) Master's if I can get this job nailed down. My co-worker is almost finished with his programming one. The good thing is, unlike their undergrad program, the graduate program is available online so long as you use a proctor for exams that aren't open book and it's pretty widely respected. My co-worker is almost finished with his programming one and said to be ready because it IS graduate-level work. I'm afraid I may have crossed that point of not being a student for so long that I might not be able to get back into studying, but I should be okay as long as I choose my courses wisely; for example, I'll be staying away from Advanced Programming Languages.

There was another program I wanted to try because it's approved the National Security Agency, but I really don't have $5000 a semester to throw around right now  Drolling

Yes.

Tucson though, moved from Phoenix/Glendale area almost two years ago.

Science AIMS (HS level, not sure if they make different levels of the science depending on grade like they do with the other ones) was pathetically easy for me, my class this year covered basically everything on the test in like the first quarter.   The only question I didn't know off the top of my head was one about choosing the right pair of tools to go about measuring how much oxygen a fish uses.  Most of them seemed like they could be used to do the task, if it were up to me I'd just count how long the fucker survives outside of water

I have one and a halfish* periods I don't like in my school day

The rest are like smooth Irish tweed

*I just talk/listen to music through one of the two, so I don't even count it as a class, still sucks though

oh yeah, so I got beat up by 3 sophomores today. My ass hurts.
Inb4 sexual comment z8

Two of them help the third guy horizontal, and rammed into my back with his feet while moron #1 and 2 are running. My friend tried to pull me out of the way but he pulled me the direction they were going, so he just added to my overall kinetic energy. I went flying a couple feet into a natural gas pipe where I hit my shoulder, my tailbone, and my head. They then dropped moron #3 on my left foot.
Sooooo many bruises.

Also, now whenever I turn my back, I hear a ton of cracking noises. Great.
