My god that was impressive. Time to change majors, because I'm never getting near that.
My lack of mathematical proficiency is going to bite me in the ass.
Computer science?

Computer science? Well, I've been confirmed for the the college of Computing and Digital Media at DePaul, but I'm likely doing network security rather than any software development.

Well there's a big difference between "Can you administer/secure a network and understand how it works" and "can you write a technical paper about how something works".

Is the 4K demo thing an example of the latter? I was under the impression that the author of that was also the one who programmed it. Also, I was considering CS. Network security just stood out to me as being more fun. I'll think more about it once I get there.

Every two years, graduates will join the work force with education that makes previous employees obsolete. Of course, this is why companies pay for your training to get certified, but still.

Not unlike what you already do when it comes to studying computer languages, it's just a matter of expanding a network of information, and checking a blog here and there, and making sure that the employees keep the porn where it belongs

The demo and presentation are exactly what they say on the tin, when I meant technical paper I literally meant that. But yeah, I understand what you mean by that level of technical understanding. Also the NSA actually endorsed the grad school I'm looking at so yay Also v2: stuff
>leaving out packetstorm and rootsecure and using annoying blog-post-linking format

Brought my project PC and parts laptop into the apartment. The project PC is old and has more dust in it than a vacuum explosion.
Anyway, at some point I'll begin ripping them both apart, and pissing off God.

Don't forget to connect the left-handed smoke shifter to the right-left doodad before you start opening up your dohickey. Also don't flip shit or the shit will hit the fan.
