>run Recuva for the hell of it >leave it on all night deep scanning >wake up >go on computer >it has found basically every single file that was kapoof'd >none of them are recoverable On a side note, I'm also finding a bunch of stuff that I still have ended up corrupted, images, music files, anything really.

i connect my usbs to my computer but they wont werk so yeah its saying something about formatting drive k. btw the usbs werk fine on any otha compute.
what OS and what file format? Windows XP and i dunno what you're talkin about with file format Hard drives (or media in general) can be formatted in different formats, like FAT32, NTFS, ext3 and many more. If a drive is in a file format the OS doesn't support, it's "moonspeak" for them and suggests to reformat it. If you want to find out the file format, plug the drive into a computer that recognizes it and allows you to use it. In Windows, Rightclick->Properties, two fields below the device name. Oh, and how big are the drives? (In Giga-/Terabyte) This could be a problem as well if they are, say, 2TB large. 512 MB , FAT on my usb.

will supposedly play skyrim on med heh Hnnnnggg you should be investing a lot more into your computer than $260. If you only spend $260, you'll have to spend that much in a year to, again, just /barely/ run modern games. It is infinitely more logical to purchase the high-tier (not top-tier) which is always at ~125% their worth, but that's because those will run games for much longer. Buying top-tier stuff is dumb, because they are generally always at 200% their worth. Fucking GTX480.

I know that Vindi, that image guide is more so aimed that the people who think computers are only meant for facebook and farmville; it's not grand but it can play some, if not all, of the newest games on medium settings, which is pretty nice. Sort of indirectly a rebuttal to "why buy a computer when I can buy a console and controllers and pay extra to use my own wifi and buy something to record my tv and buy premium hdtv cables so I don't lag and etc etc"

I could understand that the 2.5" HDD could be used, but the other parts...? *shoves SO-DIMM into regular DIMM-slot* "Most RAM modules couldn't withstand this voltage, but I'm very certain this module-"*RAM catches fire*
