Just wear cotton shorts and build the system with your case on your lap
wait what can't tell if srs okay well I was thinking of just clearing off my desk and building it here, and I have a big metal lamp right next to it so I can just touch that (I assume I can just touch silverwear as well?), or maybe my bed (which probably isn't very safe) And yeah some of the videos on youtube mention one, others totally don't even mention the possibility of static but say to not touch the contacts. |

If you hold on to the metal edge of the case, I.E. nothing that affects how the motherboard works, static won't be a problem. |
