Both... Actually the Mobility radeon chips are really very nice if you're stuck on a laptop.

Okay guys, I wanted your opinion on this thing I'm doing first thing tomorrow morning.
I'm inserting into a Dimension 5150 Dell Desktop PC:
- 2x1GB 667 Sticks of DDR2 -My ATI Radeon 4550 HD 512mb DDR2 card
Currently it has: -A stick of 512MB 533 DDR2 -Integrated Intel Graphics
Of course, it has an open PCI-E slot, 4 slots (at least 2 open guaranteed) for DDR2 200-pin RAM, and the 4550 doesn't need a 6-pin connector and it has a 305W PSU so that's fine as well.
I know that the 667 DDR2 memory I'm inserting will slow down to 533 when I stick it in. Just wondering if there's any problems I'll run into when installing tomorrow.

This is just to boost my old PC that will be the backup since I got the new desktop. Also, Vindi has a beast computer, can't compete with that 2-3k budget. Also:

it'll probably do well enough for most older games (like pre-2006 or so?) just make sure to get the drivers for your 4550

You can either build it yourself or order a gaming computer online.

Pretty much any half decent computer with dedicated graphics.

My old dell dimension 3000 could run TF2 at default. It really isn't a graphic intensive game at all.
