just did it and still said error. so theyre just hosting wrong?

They didn't have a correct locator file probably, the locator file is just a link to the picture, like on imageshack.

i have joined multiple matches, each saying they timed out i dont know whats wrong, and i cant find any when i search for them.

oh and is this the right category

There's some kind of error. I believe it will be fixed in the next update.

Do you live in China or in a place where imageshack may be blocked

or perhaps you have a slow connection

Bug reports was closed in favor of moving reports to Launchpad, you can't post topics there.

downloaded it like 3 times and when i try to play a custom map, it still says timed out

Like I said before, that update was to fix the problem of changing to the custom map room (loading the map).

Bad connection I assume
