I try to get people to like the stuff I like. Which means I try to make the world a little less queer  Also I just watched Murder Princess. Has only 6 episodes, so works well to watch it in the middle of the night. |

Trying to figure out what to pick up out of the series currently airing. Trying Dantalian no Shoka since I tend to like a lot of the stuff Gainax puts out, but I'm not sure what else I should look into.
Anyone got any suggestions?

Well if series that started last season and are still airing are fine, then Nichijou (Dat comedy+ reaction images), Kaiji (Srs buisness & manly tears. shit gets serious next episode or next week when SPOILAR he tilts the house) and Steins Gate (I AM AN EVIL MAD SCIENTIST tuturuu~)
As for animes that started this season, there is pretty much nothing really worth watching, as far as I know.
I watch:
Bunny Drop - HHHhhhhhhhhhhhhnnnnggggggggggggg
idolmaster - Harem.
Mayo Chiki - Harem again.
Ro-Kyu-Bu! - Harem again...with little girls...that play basketball...or something ;~;
Yuru Yuri - Obligatory bad Lucky Star rip off. Kinda worth watching for the blonde.
Nekogami - Why am I watching this again?
Things that maybe may be watchable:
Blood-C - Well I dropped it after episode 1, but might actually be a well made gore&tits anime by now.
No. 6 - Apparently has a good story (??), but also gay as fuck (literally), so I do not want
Baka to test 2 - I dunno. Heared good things bout 1.
Dantalian no Shoka - I still haven't started watching it for some reason
Kamisama no Memochou - Also on the "watch it, dude" list for some weeks. dunno why I haven't/forgot why
R-15 - Also on the "watch it, dude" list for some weeks. dunno why I haven't/forgot why. Something in my memory screams "GAY AS FUCK"
so, yeah

Double-J - More of a warmup for me. Going to keep following it since it's not very time-consuming in the first place. Mildly amusing. Ikoku Meiro no Croisée - Hhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggg Usagi Drop - Hhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggg (one more "n" than Ikoku, a close victory) Mayo Chiki - Sweet but predictable yet still sweet. Wait... The iDOLM@STER -
Yuru Yuri - Chitose is really the only aspect of this anime that's keeping it from falling even further into the Lucky Star cookie cutout. I'm okay with this. Nichijou - Didn't start it early enough, so I can't be bothered to download 10+ episodes at once to marathon my way back. I liked the first three episodes, though, as well a heap of YouTube videos featuring notable scenes. |

So, I watched IS: Infinite Stratos and Elfen Lied during these past 2 weeks, and both were pretty great. I really really like short anime, and I want to watch more, but I know pretty much everyone here but Archer has a shitty taste in anime (I'm looking at you, SOS).
Anyway, if you don't have a shitty taste in anime, you should totally recommend me some short ones. 10-25 episodes long is usually the sweet spot.
