a swastica is a swastica, no matter the shape, and they're mostly associated with good luck, unlike in america
For example the toes of bhudda's feet have been known to have swasticas on them, its just a symbol of bhuddism and general east asian mixed good luck, of which of course japan is a mix of shintoism bhuddism
I've boxes of noodles before with swasticas on them, it'd appear that east asia has no problem printing them onto at least that
