The animation is awful, the plot is awful, the voice actors awful, everything good about dbz and db was just kicked to curb except for a few goku/trunks/pan episodes |

Ep. 7 made me get really pissed off at the girls.
Also where did Sato learn to kick so much ass all of a sudden? The first two days he got beaten up and ever since then he's been steadily getting better. He's better than his cousin now.

Watch some mindless fun anime and then some extremely sad one I guess
Maybe start with one of the oldies anime like Lupin or Fist of the North Star and then dig for something less mainstream

Cowboy Bebop is what I'd recommend starting with without any other information from you, but we might be able to think of other stuff you might like if you say what sort of films/shows you enjoy.
