I know that

but still, I will only watch baccano. It is like the rich man's champagne of anime for me and I will never drink the low-class walmart champagne that is other anime ever again

There's far more than just that stuff

Random suggestion, try Cowboy Bebop

Watch it dubbed though

cowboy bebop was okay

exception to the rule

i dunno man, looking at k-on and lucky star and higurashi and haruhi and anything with cute loli schoolgirls ever has alienated me from anime.

i guess the exceptions would be:
cowboy bebop
hokuto no ken (fist of the north star)
baccano

death note was half decent but the fanbase sucked the life out of it, dragonball for me was raped when they decided to make dragonball gt and durarara i have yet to watch

Uh, have you watched Higurashi? It doesn't exactly stay that way for long

I can understand, but not all anime is the same as Lucky Star and K-ON

As for Haruhi, it's kinda hard to explain it, but you've kinda gotta think a bit to really enjoy it, hell it's slowly becoming my all time fave

I loved lucky star :<

I really liked how the whole show was formatted, it's basically a show about nothing, like Seinfeld except with teenage girls.

It's nice and relaxing

1) I understand the whole psychological horror element, but still... anime schoolgirls? ffffff way to ruin a perfectly good premise. Maybe if they were like grown women or something.
2) Yeah, well. A lot of animes seem to be going down the Lucky Star/K-ON route.
3) When I think about it all I see is "cute anime schoolgirl having fun times and romantic misadventures with her schoolfriends." Not exactly deep or engaging.

well excuse me if I don't need an epic "deep and engaging" plot which spans 224 episodes which ends in an amazing theatrical 2 hour 3d movie which will keep critics talking for decades to keep me watching.  z8

baccano was a "deep and engaging" anime that spanned a grand total of 13 episodes. and i enjoyed it immensely more than a show about nothing or a 28296176872 episode show about hip and edgy mary-sue ninjas

your point?

I'm just not gonna bother anymore, you seem to have missed why Higurashi's cast is full of schoolgirls and I can't find a way to explain it without spoiling it by providing decent examples to back my argument.

And Higurashi is the last thing I want to spoil for anybody, it's my favorite series thus far

Xesjah, tie up Intel and force him to watch it all Drolling
