the reason sotis seems lacking in teamplay is because it is so popular (which attracts a lot of noobs), it has a high learning curve for players that have never played dota before (which punishes noobs), and the effects of having too many noobs on a single team makes it really imbalanced. most games average like 4 leavers in the first 10 minutes, and there are usually a shit load of feeders that make opposing heroes too strong.
but i've done a ton of team combos with other smart(er) players, and it makes the game more interesting. stuff like maar graviton setups into rancor nukes, mandrake lances into spider mines, long range grunty rockets to assist seeker missiles, or zeratul chronos ultis on teammates to set up ganks.

oh man Was just watching the Day9 Daily. There was a challenge to kill your enemies in alphabetical order in a FFA, and there were two Protosses left. They ended up trading bases. One of them ended up losing his earlier, but had a hidden Pylon that was revealed when he lost his Nexus. Both armies ran for it, the guy who had the pylon cut his opponent off at the last second with some Zealots. They start fighting, he pulls back when his opponent's Zealots charge after his Stalkers, and he loses the Pylon. So depressing to watch, he was about to win  Can't wait until I get a new computer so I can play this myself instead of watching. |

Does SC2 have custom games on battle net? Warcraft 3 died and I hope starcraft has something similar to that. The world editor was amazing and a lot of people made some crazy games.
