Actually beyone the first world Yoshi is pretty much unused for the rest of the game
Play through the game first before you bitch about it
I'm 48 stars in and so far it's still the same shit collect 242 then come back. Not interesting enough for me to devote my time to collecting 242 stars, and I'm pretty sure I've played enough of the game to effectively criticize that the yoshi levels are boring and theres a serious lack of Luigi. |

seriously shut up. I like luigi too but this game is super mario galaxy. go play your luigi's mansion if you're so g ay for him. I'm not saying the game is bad because it doesn't have Luigi I'm saying that they're a bunch of filthy cockteases for only letting you play as Luigi sometimes, its a disgusting trick to make people who don't like the game but like Luigi keep playing until the resale value of the game has gone through the floor.  |

O_O whoa! all hell broke loose here!
anyway, luigi becomes available a lot more later, and he IS different from mario - he is faster and can jump higher, but he skids when he stops and apparently loses air faster
yoshi isn't used that much, and when he is used is quite boring and kinda OP
It DOES borrow music and stuff from earlier games, but that's one of the things that makes it cool

I kinda suck at Yoshi, so any lack of difficulty in his levels is not something I mind.
Soundtrack is great, just like the first.
