Hey, I have a suggestion, It could be possible to use a name-based or password-based system to access each different character. This could also be used to have multiple sprite indexes for the same class. I used name-based system to deterimine which Hero Character spawned in some of the earlier Ryo's Mod versions that included Hero Characters. Now, I use a password from the gg2.ini file to determine which Hero Character you spawn as. Here's the code for it: (Put it in the game_init script) global.heroCharPassword = ini_read_string("Settings", "CharPassword", "");
Now all the user will have to do is add the field 'CharPassword=<ExamplePass>' under the 'Settings' section. The other portion would to add a code to determine which sprite index is chosen for the selected class using the inputted password. One Idea I could do with that, is call it "Sprite set" and have each set of sprites in.. and all they have to do is add the field 'SpriteSet=(1,2,3,4,5...) Instead of making a seperate executable for each set. Good idea, Ryo.. Good Idea. I'm glad I was actually able to help someone for once X3
