Waluigi Pinball more like overrated as heck.

imo Waluigi Pinball looked pretty but wasn't a lot of fun to play on, I often felt disconnected from the other racers (And not because I was in dead last, either) and it felt like I was supposed to be thrilled, but the whole experience felt somewhat stale.

It's a good map, don't get me wrong, but it certainly isn't as amazing as people seem to claim it to be. Of course, this is just my opinion so w/e

Nope. US Gamestop black friday ad was leaked, apparently it's going to be a BF limited edition. $130 after I trade in my lite is miiiiighty tempting, especially now that I have a GBA player for my gamecube...

Just finished watching a trailer for the upcoming Mario Kart 7.
The music is awful by Mario standards, which means it's good but it's totally passable. They did put bits of the old Mario Kart Ds, bu it feels incomplete as a theme and I hope they're gonna make it catchier.
The gliding mechanics seem to add little to the game, but it might be just because the examples of its use were pretty lame, I suppose the mandatory track where you gotta abuse it in combination with giant fans is gonna be hilariously fun to play. The submerging tool, on the other hand...ugh.
There's some more customization but in the end it won't mean much. This is the kind of games where tiers are locked from the very beginning (I swear there's almost nobody on MKWii who doesn't use that surfer kong guy or Rosalina if they're feeling frisky), so I'm expecting people to use the best two or three combinations of tires-character-glider-machine after a week or two.
The new items are probably the most interesting thing of this game. They got the fire flower in, whose use is just like a green shell with better controls and lower lifespan (which means it's totally awesome), the tanooki tail that lets you flip other players when they're near (something hilarious considering heavy characters always go for midgets) and some sort of item parade thing, basically it's a bunch of items floating around you 3-green-shells style and whichever is in front of you gets used first (again, pretty cool).
New characters include Lakitu (lopl) and Metal Muthafuckin Mario awww yeah also miis are in and for me it's always nice to use Captain Falcon in these games.

Hey Meower you know about Queen Bee right lol
Out of all the things
Out of all characters in the Mario Universe and beyond
They have to take the big fat bee from Super Mario galaxy and wedge her into a cart?
I mean, she literally is as big as some planets in Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, and they made her a playable character?
THIS IS BULLSHIT! YOU CAN'T TAKE A PLANET SIZED NPC FROM A HANDFULL OF MISSIONS AND PUT HER INTO A CAR! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS? I WANT MY MONEY BACK! I'LL MAKE COMBUSTIBLE APPLES AND ROAST YOU AND EAT YOU AND KILL YOU! I'LL INVENT A TIME MACHINE AND ABORT YOU ALL AND BE VERY HURTFUL MEEN!
*storms intro angry cave*
*comes back*
And I don't like it!
*goes back into the angry cave*

I only felt like pointing out stuff that matters
There's also the centipede thing guy but honestly I don't understand why nintendo picks all these horrible characters instead of what the fanbase requests them

Wiggler has been around for god-knows-how-long, and I really don't see how you mistake a caterpillar for a centipede. Oh well. I'm alright with Wiggler being in, since he's been a rather relative character for a while, but Queen Bee was uh...

Oh shit you're right

Yeah, I don't really get why would they use such a minor (well sort of) character when they could've just gotten any of the more interesting ones. Aside from that part where Nintendo hates using characters they've used in rpg games, they could've gotten a Pianta, just to name one.

I went to "Mario's Cross-Canada Tour" today with both of my younger brothers. I got to try out Mario Kart 7. I also got to take a picture with "Mario", I had to enter a code given to me online and I'll be emailed the photo as soon as it's uploaded.

Anyways, about MK7, I'm really hyped for it. My favorite part would be the addition of these new power-ups, they're great. I'll go over everything I know:

That's all I got to try. The people there were nice, a future shop employee and I were talking about Skyward Sword and whatnot while we raced using download play (me, my 2 bros, the employee and the nintendo employee were all racing). I could tell he was a long-time gamer.
