Oh yeah, that too.

And now there's also I think it was 36,000 Nintendo "Hot Spots" throughout US and Canada where if you bring your 3DS there, you get a Street Pass update with all other people using the hot spot, and some exclusive stuff.
Cool.

I'm rather excited by having the "join game" thing on the friends list. (yay, MK7) Next they just need to add real messaging and they will have caught up with Microsoft and Sony who've done this for countless years.

3DS update. You can now join a friend's game through the friends list feature assuming you have the same game as them in your 3DS. You can also now record 3D videos using the 3Ds.

Looks like Nintendo is finally getting the hang of this "online" thing.
I hope they also add "global" accounts that can be used on all games released since then for the WiiU, 3DS and their successors some time, so you don't have to exchange those friend codes.

They already have club nintendo integration with the store on most of those things.

They could add it to that.

I just got Dream Trigger 3D (it and Samurai Warriors:Chronicles are on clearance at Target for $9 each) and holy shiiiiiiiiiiit is it hard. I've yet to beat the first level. It's quite possible I just suck at bullet hell games, as I haven't played many of them, though having to stare at both screens simultaneously doesn't help.

The 3DS got the Gameboy Advanced games.

ALL OF THEM ARE THE ONLY GAMEBODY ADVANCED GAMES I NEVER HAD BUT ALWAYS WANTED. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

...Well, not every single one of the games that I got, I mean every game that I wanted to play on the GBA is in the collection of the games.

I made a few errors while I was typing it, oh well.

Actually, the Gamebody Advance sounds like a portable Wii knockoff, actually.

Game Body.

Nintendo, you DO know that sounds about as wrong as one line in SA1's Knuckles' Theme.

With that said though, I'm hoping to get a 3DS this Christmas; if just for Sonic Generations.

I got Link to the Past (DX? or something) for Virtual Console on the 3DS, and now I'm playing it all the time.

Also I really like the AR Games feature of the 3DS, very creative stuff.

Yeah. The reason I got it is because it was the first video game I ever played.
