Well when you think of it, they usually sell NES games on the VC for 5 bucks (on the Wii anyway), so 10 free NES games, that's already 50 dollars. SNES games are worth 8 bucks, so I don't know how much GBA games would be if they ever do make them public, but say they make them only 5 bucks for some reason. That's another 50, so it does sorta make up for the 80 extra dollars we paid when you look at it from that perspective.
Yeah, but honestly, is there anyone of you who HASN'T emulated SMB?
I mean, there sure are a few who buy it on VC to "own" it, but I wouldn't pay for SMB anymore, especially when there is Super Mario Bros. Crossover.
The GBA games may be a different story since they are "only" two generations old.
Now for something different: You STILL aren't allowed to "sync" your VC purchases between Wii and 3DS, or have they changed that by now?
Because I would, if I owned a 3DS and a Wii (I owned the latter until it broke), not really feel like buying a game twice.
I mean, do you have to buy Portal 2 for PS3, PC
and the Mac?
This maybe was nessacery back in the day when downloadable games were still scifi, but now, we should be able to sync our game ownership between platforms. I can see why the PSN, XBLA and Wii Shop aren't sync'd, but at least between Wii and 3DS, one should be able to do so.
