Mario was seen with a chain-chomp in early screenshots.

I'm stoked too. TTYD is gonna be hard one to top though.

You mean about NSMB2? And what was he speculating?

Also I think it was like the very very VERY first trailer of Paper Mario for the 3ds, even before launch I think, it had a chain chomp be near Mario's side while he was casting like this huge fan

Yeah. Well, I don't have the shot saved, but in the shot it looks like everything is frozen (all the enemies are gold), Mario has a little twinkle in his hand and he's no longer gold himself. Tank was thinking that you'd be able to freeze the enemies with the ability and use them to reach higher parts of the level for cannons, star coins, etc. What I'm afraid of is that it'll be like the invincible tanooki in SM3DL, just a power-up to let you breeze through the level.

And thanks Starky, I had forgotten about that.

Uh, that's an interesting hypothesis alright

TTYD was awesome except for the part when you discover you can cheat the game using buffed up danger Mario and win everything
Also I still can't get over the fact you have to scan all the enemies oh god I feel the urge to catalogue 'em all

It's sad I don't play on my 3DS much now. I need a new game for it, I guess. Something I'd play. I basically "finished" MK7 so far as I care, and Super Mario 3D Land was not as fun as expected.

So, what now? Any suggestions? I quite like puzzle and action games. I LOVED Metroid Prime: Hunters on the DS.

I agree.

I love hearing your partner give you the down-low on enemies but hate using a turn to do something I'll only need once.

Get Luigis Mansion 2...if it's out.
Or Kid Icarus Uprising feat. Nintendo's Sonic

Get Luigis Mansion 2...if it's out.
The original Luigi's Mansion involved violently jerking the control stick back in an effort to capture ghosts
The 3ds has an insanely weak circle stick thing
can't wait

Nah, now they'll use accelerometer and gyro so everyone sees you violently jerking your 3DS around hehe

They should combine it with the stuff in WarioWare: Snapped! where you had to move your head and hands around and make stupid expressions.
