Future is so bright I gotta wear shades

basketball analogy time:
off-season: every player works out, improve their game, prove worth to coach and team
pre-season: scrubs and rookies play in summer league, get tons of burn
regular season: scrubs and rookies get some playing time off the bench
post-season: scrubs and rookies get very sparse playing time if at all

post-season = this tourney

That's what every other time of the year is for.
bolded and underlined because it's the truth. Time spent diddling with players that aren't going to be on the final roster is taken away from training with the actual final team.

Don't mind me though, I'm not on the team with an excess of middling players to sift through.

Honestly, I don't see the point in even having tryouts, most people can predict that the EC team is gonna end up something like this:

Vein
Psycho
S-Z
Wherewolf
Intel Guard

With Soup, Teeky, and/or LC as subs. I can't compete with any of them, despite being invited to try out and I know people who weren't included on that list that are better than me. How can you conclude that people like Pyrofag are worse than I?

Also, if you don't mind my asking, when did Vein become leader? I mean, I like the way he's getting things going, but I don't really remember him ever winning a vote or being appointed, and the OP still lists all 5.
Vein is just prepared.

Predictable or not, I've seen Vein go through the loops in-game already Soup. So far, I've seen him in a server the last 4/5 times I've played, most likely looking for names on the EC member list to scout out. Even though we haven't voted on Team Captain yet ( headshot ) I think Vein has given his fair share of time to those who actually took my advice and tried to play more on pub servers this past week.

In other news, Team Captain voting will be this Friday through Saturday. I will be pming the nominees, asking for a summary on why they believe they should be Team Captain. Next Wednesday (June 30th) is the last day to sign-up, and the final rosters will be officially announced July 3rd.

The practice run is still scheduled for July 5th (1 PM PST/4 PM EST). Please pm me if you have any issues showing up, I can register you for the ventrillo server at a different time then.

P.S. Toy Story 3 was great.

Damn right it was, bro.

Anyways, I'm really liking how Vein is prepared.

Actually overtime, people skills do change and there is always a chance that they might not have adjusted to the last update as of yet.  The point of the tryout is to see who is the best for our team and also who is going to be trying to take this seriously.  I do not need people who say they want to play but don't actually do squat to get ready or don't even bother to show up for a practice.

There will be more than one tryout and no one will be eliminated after just one try, people will have good days and bad ones when playing.  I will also be looking for player chemistry and overall performance during these tryout as well as player temperament and the ability to play under pressure.

On a final note, I do see skill in Airman's play but the fact that he is underselling himself makes me believe that he is saying what he says for friendship/loyalty points.  Airman, you are still welcome to the tryouts and might actually want to try to see how well you compare in your group.  Who knows, you might even impress yourself if you do not let the pressure get to you.

Couldn't figure out to transparentize, but here it is full crowd:

Should I cut off the parts at the farthest left and right of the map into more stadium?

Give me suggestions.

Remove some of the crowd. removing the trees is unnecessary. otherwise it's great!
don't forget the colored flags on the stadium crowd though.

Excuse me gentlemen, but I think I have a flow chart with fairly precise instructions on how to proceed from here.

That seems pretty reasonable to me.
