My top five is Pikachu, Jigglypuff, Captain Falcon, Ness, Marth in that order. I'm able to use every character though, up to a pretty good extent.

Time is actually pretty fun against lvl 9 computers if you just want to pass time. Set it to five minutes and let 'er rip.

I like items simply due to the gameplay variety they provide, but the spontaneity and chance involved makes some of the items seem unnecessarily unfair, especially the stopwatch and thunder bolt (both of which I refuse to allow and always turn them off), and then there are some events caused by items that just hinder the gameplay for the sake of hindering the gameplay. The soccer ball is brilliant, but I'd turn off assist trophies just so I didn't have to risk seeing fucking Resetti or a Nintendog.

I like zero suit Samus because of paralysis effects. Whenever I play with her, I turn off smash balls, since she's a huge upgrade over regular Samus.

I hate when the smash ball comes out, and I get it just so nobody else can use it, then remember it would've been better to just let them have it than play normal Samus.
