I've seen Nintendo Power up here in Canada (which is the same as the American, I assume) give out 2.5s - 3s. Mostly for stuff like games based on movies though.
And the last time they gave a 10 was for Metroid Prime 3, I think. They rarely give 9.5s, most ratings for Nintendo games are between 7.5 - 9.

I never believed in subscribing to a magazine, but I did really like buying those because they had some slick posters in them
Then like a year and a half ago I stopped caring because the posters and the reviews went worse altogether until there was just anime stuff

Apparently the fact that I appreciate organized information that can actually be read in my hands (which is why I rarely read news articles online and read the paper daily) as opposed to scouring for bits and pieces makes me an idiot. Or is it because NP's got a bad rap, and in reading it I must agree with everything they say? I guess that makes me a separatist for reading about the Quebec sovereignty movement for school.

You're not protecting the integrity of the printed page by reading terrible game magazines trying to stay relevant (by any means necessary) in an age where it's impossible to do so
You don't even need to scour for bits and pieces anyway. You type "x game review" in google and get a bunch of results as opposed to just one possibly bad one. idk what the fuck you mean.

I've been reading magazines and the paper since I was young so it's more of a traditional thing. I'm not going to justify myself further because there's no sense in arguing with two people who call a magazine terrible/printed shit while openly saying that they don't read it.
