]GS[ - Gettin' Silly Mega Clan

Thanksgiving, 2009 - Just an average day in GG2 Land.

Or so they thought.

Corny openers aside, this clan originated off-site for off-site members to enjoy and all-at-once, the group migrated over the GG2 lands. Certainly people (including one Mejic) decided that they disliked the mass invasion and started a thread in Random Chatter. Random Chatter is as Random Chatter goes and within one night, after disregarding the warnings of our fellow GSer and GG2 expert Wherewolf, we had gained a stigma that, between our efforts in Random Chatter and our disregard for site rules in creating a clan, led many people to hate a majority of our clan.

And then the nuke hit.

Since that rather convoluted Thanksgiving holiday, ]GS[ came and went before finally establishing itself amidst the clans sections in early summer, 2010. After gaining members, through the delusional overconfidence that its leaders had, it went around to other clans and challenged them, from the Gestapo to INS and anyone inbetween. No one took them seriously and they never got a match off before the summer tournament they entered. Since that point, they have swept through the tournament.

Welcome to ]GS[, a clan that can be best described as a group of bros that just happen to be good at GG2. We focus both on community and gameplay simultaneously and try to get everyone to work and hang out together. Everyone's a bro here and we're all cool with a lot of things.

Clan Chat
Most other clans tend to make use of the IRC provided by Mibbit that the main GG2 chat is hosted on. While ]GS[ does have its own chat, it does not use IRC at all other than for temporary functions such as the tournament or subbing for other clans. ]GS[ uses a program called Skype for both voice chats and also regular text-based chats. If you wish to join us or already part of ]GS[, we strongly recommend getting Skype because the most close-knit of the group all have it and it has honestly become one of our strengths.

If you would like to join and are a part of ]GS[ and wish to become part of our regular team, your best bet is to get Skype. We hold all our strategy sessions in Skype and you need to be there to see it.

If you would simply just like to chat with us, you don't even have to be in ]GS[ and don't need to be. We take all people as long as they're cool. We're all bros here.
