NextGen was gonna be multiplayer. But because I don't know how to mod the gg2 engine to allow more types of user inputs, it stopped dead in it's tracks.

...There was going to be multiplayer, a 'better' particle engine (I say 'better' because it would've been based on gg2's blood, not actual particles), and new props. However the synching 'Q' menu got me all sorts of confused and annoyed.

That kinda thing you'd have to talk to orpheron about, ai has never been my strong suit. And no, this isn't starting up again.

Making AI for bots is one thing, making AI for enemies is another. Enemy AI is simple, as enemies are simple.

Iunno if there were any in the last version I put out, but if there were, hold 'q', and there should be a little picture of a jeep

Exactly. Enemies only need like the jump mechanism to jump over obstacles, and maybe a reverse mechanism. The add point_direction(x, y, player.x, player.y) and you're done.

Remember, the more enemies there are, the dumber they're allowed to be.

If it were in the Q menu, I would have noticed, but thanks anyway.

BTW: Would it be possible to have GG2 weapons in Lmod?

in theory yes. If I had custom tools in there, they're more powerful than you'd think. If not, well... I'm not updating this game anymore.

It was the only way for me to really have you get hit, and not die instantly because the prop got stuck inside you, which still happens sometimes anyways.

What if you made props pick a random speed and a horizontal direction (left/right obviously) when they collided with the player?
