The GG2 "code" is all vspeed, hspeed, and collision mapping. Where you guys get the crazy idea that it's some sort of advanced code that nobody can understand is beyond me.

I managed to make a fairly decent servermod around about the day I learned game maker existed.
GG2 source is, for the stuff you need to change, very easy to change.

You dont really need to change the collision.
As for adding a class, ask me or insan next time your on irc. It looks hard but it really isnt.
