They're had as fuck to kill in Iron Man mode though, due to the extra resistance and "bodyshots do reduced damage" shit.
So it felt more rewarding to kill it then to actually get the items.

Truthfully I don't feel rewarded in L4D anymore. Not because I hate it, but, when you play it so often, do the same shit, then realize there's nothing but mostly shitty custom maps and mods that really don't contribute much, everything starts to feel the same. I got this way in TF2, but worse.

I never got that feeling in L4D.
L4D2 is really drap and repetitive.

When I think of L4D1, I think of all the great versus games I've had, the atmosphere, and the great characters. When I think of L4D2, I just think of the new weapons. And maybe Coach/Nick. Not to say L4D2 sucks, it's just my opinion.

No, you had it right, ASDF. Eventually both L4D and L4D2 will be integrated, no matter which direction it goes.
When it's complete to a professional stanadard, just think. THAT'S when Valve would have had to release L4D2 as an expansion for L4D. Well, roughly, I mean, I'm sure the moment the sources became available the project started but a bunch of REAL GAMERS don't quite have the income or setting to pump out shit like SUPERINSTALLED COMPANY VALVINATION does, but nonetheless, it's coming.
On a side note I haven't actually played since before The Passing came out. Is the M60 any good? Was that the only weapon they added?

Yes, and it's kind of gay but not really OP since it can't get more ammo but yeah. The only redeeming characters in L4D2 are... well is Nick. Ellis hardly talks and Coach/Rochelle are just dumb/quiet. The chemistry between L4D characters is stronger and funnier (every church dialog Francis can have) and have better personalities. Ellis is just dumb and redneck, Nick is just angry all the time, coach likes food and armor, rochelle is... rochelle. I mean, that's it.

L4D1: Louis: Funny, optimist Francis: Hateful, stupid, yet uninteionally clever Bill: Wise, leader ish character Zoey: Geeky, funny, seems to be taking the infection better, yet worse than everyone else. L4D2: Coach: Leader, often makes silly jokes, comic relief if you will Nick: Trusts no one and nothing, makes snide and sarcastic replies Ellis: Redneck who treats the infection like a game Rochelle: Silly jokes, sort of like the mother of the group I dunno, L4D1 characters just had more meaning, and they actually seemed like they were in a zombie Apocalypse, they'd make silly jokes to calm each other down, but it seemed much less often than L4D2.

Yes, and it's kind of happy go lucky but not really OP since it can't get more ammo but yeah. The only redeeming characters in L4D2 are... well is Nick. Ellis hardly talks and Coach/Rochelle are just dumb/quiet. What the fuck are you playin' man. I hear them all the time, except rochelle but that's normally because she knows her place and she dies first. The chemistry between L4D characters is stronger and funnier (every church dialog Francis can have) and have better personalities. Ellis is just dumb and redneck, No. Nick is just angry all the time,Pretty damn similar to Francis with his "I hate everything" attitude. coach likes food and armor, wait what? rochelle is... rochelle.A- No.. No, yeah you're right, this is a pretty spot on description.. I myself would have added in annoying, fun to kill and hate character. I mean, that's it.

I dunno, L4D1 characters just had more meaning, and they actually seemed like they were in a zombie Apocalypse, they'd make silly jokes to calm each other down, but it seemed much less often than L4D2.
To be honest frankly I enjoy the l4d2 characters more, even if they weren't funny at all. Plus when you play online the game is so much more better. (If you all or have someone with a mic)

Well think about it. Ro makes unfunny jokes, tries to act caring, and tries to act sweet. That sounds like a mother to me.

Lol.
Idk, yeah francis is "mad" all the time, but he is light hearted about it. Vampires, zombies, "Just open up the goddamn door!" are all pretty funny.
L4D2 just lacks the more light hearted funny moments that L4D has. Especially crash course, I need to find those quotes...

L4D2 would fit more as a sitcom, because it feels a lot more silly, yet is unfunnier. I'm glad there's only gonna be a comic for L4D1. Also, Francis and Nick are two different kinds of hate. Nick is actually smart about it, he knows that these dumbshits aren't gonna last long, so he uses them as he can till they die, but in the end he starts to care for them. Francis is just dumb. He hates stuff cause he just he can, and often contradicts himself, leading to humorous situations.
