Aw. For the longest time, I've only had six games for my SNES. Super Mario World, Super Bomberman 2, Diddy Kong's Quest, and three other games I really don't feel like playing. I've played plenty of others back in the era, but as for games I've owned, our library consisted mainly of N64 titles.
...which isn't bad, it just isn't Super.

heheh. Rockman 7 Famicom style. hard, but totally worth it if you change the sprites so you can play as blues.

Did anyone see the new Pac-man Google logo?
If you press "Insert Coin", you can even play it.

I think Google cost the world billions of dollars in lost productivity because of that today. We managed to only play for maybe twenty minutes each at my office, amazingly.

The Super Nintendo was a good system. So was the Genesis, just a bit outdone.
I think that, because it was still a simpler time back then, it was easy for developers to advance on what they learned from their works on the NES. Which is why we have classics like Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger, and Earthbound still stand the test of time today. No particuarly new game concepts, just an emphasis on perfection. With the third dimension, it gets complicated.

Romhacking.net is a great place to find fan-translations of obscure but amazing games that you never knew about before. Here's one that I can't plug enough; it's an RPG/adventure/survival horror game that inspired the Resident Evil series, and does a jaw-droppingly fantastic job of crafting a scary atmosphere despite being a mere NES game.

I still have a genesis, though a bit broken down I can still get it to run. I've been playing a lot of old sonic games and Earthworm Jim.

Press it twice and Mrs. Pac-man pops up.
