'snip'
That post. It gave me testicular cancer. There is not a snowball's chance in the fires of hell that is not a troll review. Great taste.

Great taste.
Just before the time of posting that song, I heard it randomly on the local rock station, and I instantly fell in love with the bass line. I'm listening Fragile on Youtube right now, and a lot of elements of the band remind me of the Beatles, Kansas, and perhaps Rush, all of which I'm pretty cool with; but it mostly reminded me of Steely Dan, which makes me fucking ecstatic. I need to buy this album when I get the chance.

I can't listen to this without thinking of this:
I couldn't find my favorite live performance of the tune on Youtube (the one he starts with "This may prove useful to some of you some day perhaps, in a somewhat bizarre set of circumstances...") It's much closer to the studio version than this one, and generally better performed.

Is that a challenge? In unrelated news, David Saulesco released a 10th anniversary edition of the Eternal Daugher soundtrack. It sounds great, but it's still missing the songs from Francis and Kraich (e.g. Brownie Forest, see my version). I'd really love to have a definitive and complete version of the soundtrack.

An Amazon review for Daft Punk's Alive album : 1 of 14 people found the following review helpful 1.0 out of 5 stars A disgrace to electronic music... stick with US Dubstep like Skrillex :], February 3, 2012 By Jonas Brothers #1 Fan - See all my reviews This review is from: Alive 2007 (Audio CD) I love electronic music... my favorite groups are Skrillex, LMFAO, Black Eyed Peas, Bananarama, and anything on MTV or any Dubstep made in the USA... lol but these Daft Punk jokers really know nothing about Electronic music. First of all... what's up with the stupid robot suits they wear? That makes no sense! If you are gonna wear anything it should be SLIPKNOT masks . Next, none of their songs make any sense its like just a bunch of noise... they have no song structure! Songs like "Veridious Quo", "Around the World", and "something about us" are horrible! And their music videos are just as dumb... This Alive 2007 performance was really boring.. I think I feel asleep! These guys need to take a few pointers from Skrillex... and get his COOL haircut. Then try to get aired on MTV if they want any commercial success :] Oh and be sure to check out other cool groups like Jonas Brothers, Nickelback, and Slipknot! Can't tell if trolling or genuinely deaf.

Can't tell if trolling...
How can you doubt he is trolling? Why else would he off-topically recommend three bands that have nothing in-common except they're widely despised?
