Serious:
I don't know the song, but it seems like you're just playing it by yourself. There are a lot of stops/starts, you would do well to play along with the song. The bass, being part of the foundation, cannot afford to be off-time. A bassist with no sense of time is a guitarist using a bass, and a failing band.
