Well this happens on pretty much every default map with team doors, I think it deserves some attention.

Here are the pictures to prove it.











Looking back at them, the rockets in each shot aren't very visible, but they are there. I should have turned particle effects on. I'll retake the shots another time if somebody wants me to. somebody wants me to.

it's not really a bad issue since the rocketman should be getting the intel anyways,

sides, he's going to get raped anyways sice he can't be on both sides at once

What if that he turns into they?

this can easily be fixed if we either fix the maps or change where the rocketman shoots but in my opinion, this is something that I don't care about at all.

It's kind of fun and I'd be sad to see it go, but its pretty useless as you end up pushing people into medcabs most of the time.

Throughout my spiel coding the 2.3 beta, I corrected a bug where the rocketman could fire through thin solid walls.

It was a success but I forgot to add conditions to check for special entities.

It'd be very helpful if I could have a list of all entities that should not be able to be fired through, this includes the team specific special entities. For example, it might be ok for a rocketman to fire through a thin team door if it's his own team's door but not fire through the enemy's team door due to non-matching teams or just not fire through thin team doors all together.

That is a poorly designed spawnroom. ctf_hairpin_v2 is a perfect example of that.

I was thinking dirtbowl stage one.
Either way rocketmen shouldn't be able to fire out their own team doors, that's ridiculous.

the rocket man is still great at close range just less great, cant you make it so that all the entities walls are just a bit thicker? although then you might have to do a tiny bit of coding for the map making thing but thats probably easyer and just as effective as the rocket spawning closer to the rocket man
