A walkmask just shows that you're touching object X. Object X, in this case, will be... I dunno, water. If you don't want it to stop when you touch it, you don't enter any collision event for it. If you don't want to stop, but you want something to happen, put in a collision event, and within the event, place the desired action. If you do want the player to stop when it hits something, create a parent for everything solid, and where it says "Parent" in the object, choose "solid", or whatever the devil you name the parent.

Well, right now, I've been using invisible blocks instead of a walkmask, because I didn't undahstand walkmasks. But your explanation makes it look easy. All I do is put the walkmask obj over the bg image and make it invisible, right?
