It just looks complicated. Really, it's just >Insert the parent for the player object where it says "Object name" >Insert a lower number where it goes to the generic alert sprite >Insert the same number for the attack and revert to idle sprite >Insert the object name of the bullets where it says Instance_create
Keep in mind that this never set a control variable for firing, but then again, keep in mind that I also typed all that based off memory, so I have an excuse for not adding it.

Oh, yeah. Keep in mind that that was also based off an old sentry code... I really should actually get into game maker to help you with this one, shouldn't I?

Was it designed by you? Nope it wasn't. But they couldn't get it to work, and I whacked it with a wrench a couple hundred times. I solve people's problems and make their lives easier.

Test Subjects versus Scientists. (Opening Studies is a lab, so there's obviously scientists behind the scenes) The goal for the Test Subjects would be to get to the next Test Chamber, where the Scientists must prevent the Test Subjects from progressing. The Test Subjects will be armed with Portal Guns, and the Scientists will be armed with Shotguns. The Victory conditions are: Test Subjects win if all living Test Subjects make it to the next Chamber. Scientists win by eliminating all the Test Subjects. Now what I mean by all living Test Subjects is that the Test Subjects cannot respawn. So if there were 5 Test Subjects and 4 get killed, you win if the last living member on your team makes it to the end. Maps would have to be balanced though, so that the Scientists get full mobility. A downside is that the Scientists can use Portals if the Test Subjects are careless. So, what do you all think?
