There was this one time on CP_Egypt when both teams were constantly capping the point in the middle and there was not even a single cap of the 2nd or 4th point and then the time went out just when my team had almost capped the 2nd point.

As I said, make is a Server CVAR like autobalance, announce to lobby, caplimit, playerlimit, etc.

In addition, sudden death only makes sense on Push style CP maps to quickly find a victor. Otherwise people will just go for a cap in CTF, which is what overtime is meant for (at least in CTF).
