I want to play (GA) in our first match.
Will this be random selection?
Sorta random, it really depends if we hit the 8 team mark or not though. Team SSAAGNOPT -Thorvan -Tankman8bit -Alice -Wareya
Updated. @Spectator Mod Wanters: It's Techno's mod so it's his decesion. I can tell you it's pretty dam awesome though and you should all bow your heads in graditude when he releases it.

I've played with 8BitGinno recently and he is pretty damn good, I think he's a great addition to your team
I'm flattered, really I am. I didn't even know I was that well known.

K so here's the deal if cp_egypt gets added to the map cycle.
The win condition can either be capture the first 4 points to win (once you get 4 of the cps you just let the winning team finish the game);
The win condition is to capture all 5 points (regular cp_egypt stuff);
Or if time runs out, the team with the majority cps (3-2, 4-1) wins. Remember that respawn time will still be 5 seconds and the map timelimit will be 10 minutes still.
Or you could just vote no.

No egypt. Maybe if it was the original, smaller egypt, but not the current one.

Normally I would say yes, but he's right. It's to large for a 4 on 4. Unless anyone can pull a small version out of there ass in 10 days that's not gonna happen.

I have the spectator mod in gmk mode. I'm not techy enough to figure out how to change that though. Anyways, on topic, I do not want Egypt because it is too strange of a map.

I'd love to join any open groups, it'd be nice to have at least ONE game without newfags.

Play on Anna's server more often, eventually pro's will join in and you'll get your own backside handed to you, lol. To be honest, I hate those easy wins, it makes you feel all powerful and it makes you weak. Having a challenge (like the couple of matches I've played earlier) were hard and we still lost, but fun and helped me.

K totally ignore that last poll, I misunderstood what techno was saying. I'll put it up for voting again at a later date. Anyways new poll!
The chances of this happening is pretty small, but in a tied game what should be the break even decider? Obviously OT would be nice, but it's not an option yet.
So, total up each team's points to see who's the victor? I'm sure there are plenty ways to abuse this if you feel the game is gonna end in a tie anyways, but it does work.
Average the score? This would mean if you were playing down men the entire match, you might be able to become victorious if you hold for a tie. The problem here being a team that gets up by one point can camp their intel like a mo-fo, get a bunch of points, and end up with a tied game because they got an easy first cap. If a teammate leaves during a match (like it was 4v4 then he left so it's 3v4), the score will still be divided by 4.
Final choice, just re-do the match. Don't count games where the teams tie, only count games where they come out with a clear cut victory.
@Uber: There are plenty of people still on the LFG list, pm them and create a team, you still have 13 days.

if round robin
do it like football
+2 for a win, +1 for a tie, +0 for a loss
+3 if team wins by capping 3 times, rewards teams who don't try to camp

In tf2, gravelpit is played "stopwatch" style, meaning that the winner is counted both on how many points they have and, if a tie, the person who got those points the fastest wins. Perhapes we could do something similar; add in a simple timer for each team to the host mod that shows when the last intel cap was. That seems much fairer and faster than redoing the match, or counting arbitrary points.

That would probably work if we do resort to round robin, that way everyone would be garunteed 3 games a match. Meh, maybe. That seems like extra modding and more time than we probably have. I'd like to try a system that we can run through the vanilla garrison if possible.

For cp_egypt, no. For egyptremix, As for the winning system, what about a sudden death type thing for a tie? First team to cap wins, double respawn time. Then once that timer runs out it's based on points. A system of +3's for wins and what not in my opinion would make it more complicated then it needs to be. Just worrying about winning should be enough, getting points should be worried about in the games themselves. If a team steamrolled another team and it gives them a big enough lead, that's game, and some teams wouldn't even get a chance to win. And how many map slots are left? I was wondering if an updated version of factoryfort would be a possiblity, as in updated for working spawns.
