You know there's a reason why fredman made the sprites like that.
If you use these new sprites and compare it to the artwork of oldfort, or truefort, they'll look too bright.
I mean really bright, sure they stand out but it isn't really needed for neon sprites on a subtle background
Then there's only one thing to do- REMAKE THE MAP BACKGROUNDS TOOsee: edit I think that the fact that most of the colors are stretched six times is a reason why all maps look comparably dark

I use ms paint. You don't have layers or transparency. So, it's a fucking sprite, all I need is to make color pallet, set brush to 2x2 pixels, and I'm set. |
