I just played through again and had a blast, this game is so incredibly amusing. I have a suggestion, you are totally free to ignore it, but I think it would be nice if the next feature included was 'liver' AI. It probably wouldn't be that hard to do, just make it so all 4 players are created every time you start a game, and if they aren't player controlled they just shoot in the direction zombies are coming from, you'd probably have to spawn a ton more zombies but it would be totally awesome.

I could do this, yes. I like the idea. I'll do it soon.
Also, what else needs doing? What can we help you with? This game is off to an incredible start and I for one really want to help out.

Are there sprites that still need doing? Can I start working on a background? Could you give us eager wannabe collaborators a list of things we can do to help out?
First off, if anybody has experience with xml I'd love to talk to them.
Sprite-wise, I'd like
-a background (preferably a couple so you can rotate them if you don't like one)
-a sprite for a "safe house"
-animations of the survivors using medpacs (just two looping frames would do it)
-the tank throwing a rock (and maybe a better tank while you're at it. Mine has sorta spazzy arms)

I also need some 8bit witch crying

Also, I really appreciate people spotting bugs. The earlier I find em the easier they are to fix.

Super! I'll use most of them.

Fixed it. I forgot to give points on death when I redid the zombie AI code.

Getting them to use both their arms for med pack applying looked awkward, so they just move the pack up and down.
I also didn't quite like how tharvon made them swallow a single pill, they need to down an entire bottle in a split second!

Could you also post your tank sprites?

1.) Are there going to be incapacitated sprites, dual pistols, and custom huds?
2.) In the final version, will it just be survive until you die or will there be actual campaigns?

hmm, that might be a little extreme, maybe just its own subforum or a child board.
also, are we going to give it multiple maps, which look like the l4d campaigns? I was working on a new map decal and I managed to make it a blood harvest theme.

In directly mimicking atari style it would be on a basic flat diagonal plane for where the character walks, and a flat one for the background. This would keep scrolling etc. That's how I saw it but whatever.

Note to serious gamer: Balance zombies, mmkay?
