I suppose this is a comment to address now: This is a great idea and I  don't want to stop work but... Should we really start now when gang garrison doesn't even have a CP or payload mode, nonetheless only one weapon for each class? And only one building?

Now that you got more zombies and tanks and stuff, the game was actually entertaining for a while. I got up to 169 kills . This is definitely good. At least you're actually trying to make this happen, unlike all the other ideas for games/mods that never see the light of day.

I'm the only person working on this, and I have no idea how to add any of that stuff (other than new weapons), so it's not that big a deal. Also, I think people who can program Actionscript is probably rarer than people who can program Gamemaker.

EDIT: I'll release the .fla when the game is to a point where it's actually playable the way I want it to be.

The only thing I have to argue about it is that I was hoping for it to be more like ganggarrison (side scrolling in a 2d enviroment), but it was defiantly awesome....I liked the first version better....I got 13 points

Make the Tanks spawn at a slower rate, for god's sake.
When those things catch up to you, you're finished. At least make them appear a little less.

The 2nd tier weapons are totally broken compared to the old ones. But then REAL men use the pistol.

When those things catch up to you, you're finished. At least make them appear a little less.

What do you guys think of calling tanks "soldiers", smokers "snipers", hunters "scouts", and boomers "heavies"?

EDIT: Fyi, the "number of livers" menu doesn't actually do anything yet

LOL THIS HILARIOUS but too Atari to capture my attention more than 6 seconds. (This is a problem with Me and Atari, not your game.)

No seriously. I has questions/comments:

-How do u switch teh wepons 2 pitsol
-moving up/down is useless
-bill is better than the other survivors?
-you cannot escape the tank (this is only broke because there are usually three at once)
-better wepon are bettter (not really broke)
-why doesnt witch spawn 1/5 of tiem and kill u in one hit

Edit: Dunno what I'm whining about I think 54 140 is a pretty good score eh

1. Press control to switch to pistol
2. It well be much more useful once I implement scrolling
3. All the survivors are exactly the same apart from looking different.
4. You move slightly faster than tanks horizontally and over twice as fast vertically. It is very possible to escape a tank.

hah, thats hilarious serious gamer. I love where this is going. I may want to jump on board. Can I call dibs on the menu art? (I won't actually have time to do it until next week, but I have some fun ideas I want to try)
