By the way, have you ever thought about developing these original drawings into a full-blown characters?

The drawings have a surprising amount of depth to them emotionally. The subtle touches on your drawings give them a lot of personality; like the girl's left arm and how it's positioned. It gives her the appearance of being cautious, or timid. These things make me wonder if you've ever gone deeper than just drawing these characters.
And that concludes Indie's Pretentious Moment of the Day.

i usually do those sort of things to liven it up and not make it look just like another bad anime static drawing with no feelings and stuff. it also makes it more fun and interesting to do. drawings for characters i actually have come up with stories have usually just ended up as quick drawings in my sketch book. i have a lot of stories i want to tell but prefer to keep to myself because i dont really feel like drawing and/or writing it all. that's all. ill giv plawweds after i see my cat in glorease slob drawing stile :3
ill get one that i feel like drawing cats

These are really cool. Your style is very unique, especially the black and white one. The contrast and sharp lines give it a personality, even if you didn't intend to create one.
I have the same problem with creating "in-depth characters". It requires proficiency in both illustration and writing. Creating a strong character sketch is difficult for me. I would have maybe a point or two about their general temperament, but not really a full-fledged background; it's sort of like the commonplace book, in that it is a spontaneous collection of musings.
I was once thinking of doing an X-Com comic, starring all of my beloved soldiers. I never got around to it, because I could never trust another writer to fulfill my visions.

hi thank you for the kind words and thoughts. it feels sometimes like my writing and drawing abilities exist completely on a different plane sometimes and. i can't seem to properly coordinate the two to create exactly the character i had come up in my mind and then when the discrepancies in the final product appear i'm not happy with the result, while a drawing i had no intention of giving a background or anything i end up suprised at how i like it. that's why i and a lot of people understandably prefer drawing just because. what else can be said~
