These are nice! I'm not really partial to the anime-style characters, but I like the solid pastel-colored backgrounds with the pixelly but pretty detailed look you give them. It brings to mind a character selection screen on an old arcade game, where you move the cursor over your desired character, hit the button, and see them strike a little pose as their section of the screen flashes. That was pretty much the first thing I thought of when I saw them, which I guess is odd because I don't really have any experience with those games. That might just be how I perceive them, in which case I probably sound stupid.
I realize I'm being a little rude by making personal requests to artists before I've even got ten posts, but if you happen to have extra time and don't know what to draw, I would love to see an image of an blocky, 1950's-esque, displeased-looking humanoid robot hoisting a sign emblazoned with "No Fun Allowed". I would use it often, I can assure you. If you do decide to take me up, I'd like to eventually find some way to repay you for it. It would be an open-ended thing on your side, like in every movie ever where a desperate character makes a deal with another character for something they need and agrees to grant one request, no matter how large, in the future, and then they end up having to give up their soul or baby or something else important.
I will give you my soul, and I could probably scrounge up a baby or two somewhere if you wanted that instead.
Also I voted "Never" on the poll. It would feel sort of strange and uncomfortable, I think.
