Port Fowarding 101: the visual Guide (Vista and Windows 7 XP might need adjustments)
1. Open Command prompt
-->Start-->accessories--->Command Prompt

2. Type in ipconfig and press enter:

3. Look at this:

This is your local ip, Jot it down for further use
4. Look under the gateway thing, that's your router ip, in my case my one would be
192.168.1.1
add
http://
in front of it so that it is like
http://192.168.1.1And follow the link
NOTE THAT IT WILL MOST LIKELY BE DIFFERENT FOR YOU
5. Now this part will be tricky
You will be prompted for a password

go to this site here:
http://cirt.net/passwordsand find your router, unless you've changed the password yourself, then you should find your routers password here
6.
Once on your router's page, go to the tab that says applications and gaming
There you will port foward
7.

You will see a screen like this, in a new box, put in GG2 as an application name and your local ip from earlier as an IP, for the ports put in 8190 and 8190 and click "enable"
NOTE: YOUR local ip IS YOUR ORIGINAL IP FROM COMMAND PROMPT FROM STEP TWO, IF THE IP ENDS IN THE SAME WAY AS YOUR DEFAUTL GATEWAY, THEN THAT IS NOT YOUR LOCAL IPYou're finished port forwarding! But... your server won't work behind your firewall
