It would make me happy if you were to host CTF_Dirtbowl. I haven't seen it in a rotation since /v/idya, and it's such a wonderful map.
That's a possibility, never played CTF_dirtbowl, personally. Also, found out what happens when my router resets.. the server doesn't crash, but instead, it kicks -everyone- and the server stays online. Oh well, that's fine I suppose. |

Well, for an East Coast server, it works pretty well for a guy in Central America.
Only a few occasional hiccups, but those hiccups usually end up costing me big time. Still, pretty good server.

In consideration, I'll do some experimenting. Being a fan of RED on Dirtbowl, the respawn time is bugger-some. Well, for an East Coast server, it works pretty well for a guy in Central America.
Only a few occasional hiccups, but those hiccups usually end up costing me big time. Still, pretty good server.
The hiccuping might be caused by me upon tabbing out of FFXI / into firefox, etc. causing a reasonably high CPU load for a moment. Not sure, maybe they're standard. |

Longer respawn times didn't really hurt BLU as much on Bacon Town, since there would usually be a medic.
In fact, I believe most of the time, it encouraged smarter play.

It was also annoying when a Spy stabcamped right in front of the fucking spawn right after you died and you were too distracted by another enemy to notice.

What was even more annoying about Bacon town was when something more threatening stood and spammed into your spawn. So yeah.
