Similar to engie, I don't think a lot of older players still main spy. I enjoyed playing with B@ckl@sh in 2.0 when I started, but I imagine that's more a nostalgia deal. I try, but my aim is slightly off, I occasionally miss facestabs, it takes me five minutes to get warmed up etc. Plus I can't resist suicide stabbing A/D + M1 pyros.

Why the fuck are people voting 'no' to being good at facestabs?
It's like strippers knowing how to give blowjobs.
Sure, there's other ways to get what you need, but this way's the fastest and most satisfying.

Yeah I thought it would be a landslide 'yes' vote.

Facestabs don't work on good players. They aren't reliable. You don't need to know how to facestab to be good. Any attack that relies on forecasting where your opponent is in a second is not good tactically. Good players don't move predictably.

Even the time it takes them to hesitate can be useful, since they'll usually be out in the open. I like to think that even the worst case scenario can be useful.

I guess different players have different playstyles. I prefer to make people hesitate through revolvering first then stabbing, rather than the other way around. Also, Beasta, you shouldn't make a poll with a preconceived notion on what the results should be. Wouldn't you rather have new players look at this thread and realize that fundamental revolver skills are more important? Facestab is a supplemental skill not a primary one. A lot of players try to facestab me, and I just walk right next to them, stand there, wait for them to panic and watch as they stab again. It's really funny and sad at the same time.
