At Arthur's home "...if I have to, I really will..." reads on his computer screen, seemingly meaningless at first, what else seemingly meaningless is at Arthur's home? On the lower floor, a few red flowers.
If you did notice it's the last sentence Kazuma sends to Sue about "eating cockroaches". "I'm so hungry, and I'm reduced to eating Cockroaches... that was a joke, haha. ...If I have to, I really will..." Or something like that. Basically it's suppose to let the player know they are heading in the right direction from where they recieved this "transmission". You know, I must have done fifteen-odd playthrough and I never noticed that connection before. I have the intelligence of a box of rocks. Or a potato
I just knew someone was gonna say that. |

Okay guys.
We obviously have some confusion on the story.
The mimigas will have guns, provided by their military. All the guns were taken from the mimiga village, so that's why no one has guns there, except that bubbler that someone stupidly left in the fire place. (Seriously, who puts guns in a fire place?)
The mimigas will also have access to the red flowers. However, take too many red flowers at once (Read: Use your abilities too often), you will LOSE a portion of your maximum heath. If you OD when you only have 1-3 max hp left, you die. But you are revived with the starting amount, ready to OD again.
The robots will have guns of course.
Also, robots have more auxilary abilities, such as high jump and the ability to 'read' the ground.
tl;dr: Fucking read it.

this is active?! hell yes.
so anyway. let's not make this anything like maple story please.
PLEASE.
jumps should only go up to 3 blocks tall and i think it was like 5 or 7 blocks far or something.
speed should stay the same. there should be cutscenes instead of talking to NPCs. quests missions should fit together well enough to make a story line, and sidequests can be obviously identified as sidequests. and the good part is it's during the mimiga war so you don't have to do the "and you're the ONLY ONE WHO CAN etc." because it's an army. i'd put this file on mediafire though somehow because rapidshit is rapidshit.
the guns are acquired as you go through missions and some are secret like the original and i'm thinking of whether upgrades for weapons would be ideal. don't make the enemies drop anything but exp and health so that farming for money doesn't happen. the only safe havens are towns and outposts. environments are environments and fighting is real time and player controlled like in the original. not turn based animation loops. boss battles would be awesome sauce and the system for them should stay the same (poison and knockback have no effect). a designated area for fighting other players after version 2 so when we get tired of griefing we can settle down.
OH WAIT WE'RE THE MIMIGAS?!
well same rules apply. so anyway, you'll need more action areas than the 5 already made for you, and you'll have to take the idea from another pokemon type besides flying, water, fire, rock, grass, and ground. you'll have to make some REALLY FUCKING HARD maps too.
but who cares about themes anyway?
the above and some things i haven't thought of yet would make the game ideal for me.
tl;dr please don't make this like maple story.
