More like read the fucking thread. z3
no u

This is a very big topic. I ain't gonna read all of it. All I know is your doing physics with the game or something. And you can still release a beta even though the physics aren't perfect so we can get a first hand experience on how the game is coming along.
Oh wow z8

So it's used for pros and novices alike? So why don't you guys assemble a bigger team and try to make a pretty big project out of this? Like, many coders, a few artists, etc.? I think that would make a pretty kickass project.

He is adding advanced, non-laggy physics to a GG2 mod. The game is boxes that go through floors upon being stacked in an old GG2 build.

No offense or anything, but that sounds really simplistic, so how hard could it be to do some of that shit (no offense again)? And isn't game maker supposed to be pretty easy for coding, or am I just mistaking?
Game maker uses a drag and drop system, specifically designed for people who have little to no coding experience what so ever, but it does come with its own form of coding language obviously for advanced users and what not.
Herf derp. I made physics in D&D and it came out shitty. D&D cannot do everything, and if you want things presentable, then you have to take some time to write at least decent code.

Woops. I know how that happened too, really good error.
Replace that with an else vspeed=0;
