Yeah, I have that. But I wanted a completely Star Wars mod...oh well. Back on topic. The tennis thing sounds fun but would the cool-down time in between airbursts be shorter? |

I'd like to suggest a civil war-themed spritemod.
Red becomes gray
Sniper gets a musket as a rifle (shoots grayish trails with a hint of teamcolor)
Blu spy becomes Harriet Tubman
Gray spy becomes John Wilkes Booth
Medic gets an amputative saw that somehow heals people and shoots long bullets.
Autogun is a horse that barfs on people.
Abe Lincoln and Jefferson Davis are pyros for blu and gray respectively
Scouts get civil-war style caps
Detos shoot civil-war style grenades
Heavys...well...I dunno.

WWI introduced automatic (Or Semi? I forgot) Machine guns to the battlefield. Not handheld, though.
The Gatlin gun was actually introduced in the 1800s as what you'd consider a "Manual minigun." You had to crank it to fire. There are actually earlier renditions from some part of Asia, if memory serves, but they didn't use gunpowder so they don't count (More like gatlin crossbows than gatlin guns)
And for those of you in dire need of a history lesson, WWI happened in the 1900s.
