Okay, alternate gamemode/mod idea: there are two classes, essentialy heavy and rocketman (or variations of such) Heavy deals huge damage, but has a problem: He can't jump. Here is where the rocketmancomes in, he has to use his rocket knockback to boost heavy up jumps.

How would I add reloading animations and separate jump and double jump animations?

You could get the player to switch to and from animations using the doublejump used and reloading variables.

I understand the principle, but can't actually code it.
I haven't even used game maker in months =P
