I need help with a mod. I suck a coding, so...
THE MEGAMAN 10 MOD
It would function like gg2, but with different characters.
Mega Man - There are eight robot masters, each with their own ability. Each robot master's ability is strong against another and one weak against another. Just like how in TF2/GG2 classes counter each other. So why not make a mod out of it?
This is just my idea, but the using the robot masters from Mega Man 10, since it's the most recent; hence the sprites, sounds, etc. will be more accesisible.
So - Robot Master #1 - Nitro Man. Motorcycle-robot hybrid. Shoots wheels. Moves really fast. Weakness is Chill Spike. Robot Master #2 - Solar Man. Humanoid with sun on his head. Shoots fire, can absorb shots. Weakness is Water Shield. Robot Master #3 - Commando Man. Humanoid tank. Shoots rockets, creates small shock waves when jumping. Weakness is Wheel Cutter Robot Master #4 - Strike Man. Pitcher robot. Throws fastballs, bounces himself around like a ball. Weakness is Triple Blade. Robot Master #5 - Chill Man. Robot with ice around his head. Shoots ice. If hits player, freezes him, and if hits terrain, creates a trap. Weakness is Solar Blaze Robot Master #6 - Pump Man. Pump guy. Throws pump handle like boomerang, creates a water shield that deals damage. There are 8 pellets; upon hitting a player, they burst and deal damage; upon hitting a projectile, it absorbs the damage and asplodes. Weak to Thunder Wool. Robot Master #7 - Sheep Man. Sheep with arms and legs. Turns into cloud that shoot lightning down. Takes damage if hit in air; weakness is Rebound Striker. Robot Master #8 - Blade Man. Guy with swords for appendages. Can swing swords or spread shot swords. Weakness is Commando Bomb.
I'll give you some more stats if you think it's managable.

Learn to code it yourself through experimentation and ghetto prototypes. No one will ever want to code for you if you don't put in the time to do stuff yourself first.
All of the vanilla code can be copy-pasted as small snippets and have everything you need for this mod. It's a matter of knowing what things do (hence experimentation) and where to apply it.
I'll give you a few examples of useful code snippets to get the ball rolling. - Most of the weapon user defined 1 events have projectile instance creation, which can be used to create more projectiles after one is destroyed - Rifle code has hitscan if you ever need that - Sentry turret code has target lock code and hitscan - Character obstacle collision code is useful for wheel attacks that roll across the ground - Infiltrator revolver alarm 1 (iirc) has stuff for melee attack hitboxes
