When you're outnumbered and outmatched in the heat of battle, there's no point in running. The enemy is most likely going to make it into your base, and if you try rushing them by yourself, there's no chance in hell you're gonna make it out alive [Unless you're a Soldier or Sniper. Maybe Heavies and Pyros, too.] So, rather than throw your life away, use the fake-out tactic. The Fakeout tactic is pretty simple: Find a place where it's a little harder to get out than in, wait for the enemy to take the bait [i.e. follow you], and then when their gaurd is down, go in for the kill. At the very least, you'll be able to weaken the enemy a little so one of your mates can take them down.

...Or go in like Leeroy Jenkins, that's always entertaining. I mean, say you got 3 Heavies trying to take down you, a Scout/Spy with such a low HP it's barely visible on the black +. Wait until they come after you, go in guns blazing. Better yet, uncloak as a Spy, z5, immediately change class/team. Use said time delay in them coming to get you to damage as a different class.

There's not many Pyros that can win a fight against a Heavy and a Medic. GG2 name is "SAPPIN' MAH SPY". Ironic since I'm not usually Spy anymore. [img]http://tf-2.fr/ach.php?a=I appear to be on fire&b=Be the victim of a Pyro Spy Checker&c=998&d=999&e=303&

That and you should be good enough to have not gotten into such a situation that demands this strategy.

In this game, a time that calls for this tactic arises all the time.

That is true. I should do it more often. Other people can't see your HP bar for a reason.

Just keep on weakening them and keep on switching class that suits the situation.

I like to park my Heavy where the intel is, grab it, go to a choke spot near it and spam bullets while ing I feel like John McClane when I do it. Feels good man.

mhm this is a great tactic, i use it often and i lmao earlier today when i was a bubbler and i shook a runner, and got away with 3 intel cases. One of the best tactics ever.
