Are the wallmask and background both PNG files?

Guess I gotta w8 then...
Edit: W8!!!!
In the gb.config file, 1 means yes and 0 mean no right?
If so, there was a 1 next to the vista 54 bit selection...
maybe that's it... Cause I don't have vista, I got XP.

I guess your PC is too weak or something. You're not the first one with that problem. There's no solution I know of.

But It worked once already... I have a theory though. What if it doesn't go through because you don't put a boarder around the edges of the entire map? Or at least the edges?

No. I guess, it's because one map was bigger than the other. Therefore it takes longer to embed it, and it probably needs more processing power or memory.

Should I do a writeup on mapping theory again? I deleted it in a fit of rage, but I can rewrite it if you guys think it might be helpful.

/edit: That sounds kinda wrong.

Mein Kampf -- I have the essentials right now. Do you guys want me to go into specifics (like, value of choke points, balancing areas, etc)? I've been dissecting some of the more popular maps (mainly trufort and dirtbowl) and I believe I have a fair understanding on why they are so balanced.

You're saying cp_dirtbowl is balanced? I mean, rocketspam is so damn effective on that map, it's not even funny.

I meant Zvector. The two maps contrast well with eachother. Trufort's bases are confined and sectioned off, whereas the center is fairly open. Zvector is exactly the opposite.

oh, that makes a HUGE difference If you look at my "tutorial", I tired to make it not too long and focused just on the basics. So, yes, I'd like to see another more in-depth approach to mapping theory.
